COPENHAGEN ART RUN
Yesterday, the ArtRebels crew participated in the 5k race in Ishøj Strandpark called Copenhagen Art Run. This event was special for us because all of the Trailerpark artwork got used to make the "Art" part of the Art Run. Scattered along the five kilometers of beach trails were beautiful pieces of Trailerpark artwork decorating the path. Volunteers wielding painted eye-balls came into the path blocking our way while others did acrobatic tricks or handed over paint brushes loaded with paint for the participants. It felt like a reincarnation of the last Trailerpark and we loved it!
Trees got artsy While most of the participants chose to walk, some of us wanted to try and run it. This proved hard for me since I was trying to document the art along the way. The photos below are my running photos, above are my colleague Rikke's walking shots. Rikke and I crossed paths at one point on the trail going opposite directions. I was in full stride taking an iPhone shot of some art along the water. She seemed quite amused by this and proceeded to laugh hysterically at my feeble attempt to document this experience. Despite that silliness, we already can't wait for next years event!
