My favourite photographer is Anton Corbijn. He's a Dutch artist and is known for his photos of different musicians. He's also a music video director and film director. One of his films, 'Control' (2007), is a biography of Ian Curtis and the rest of the band Joy Division. You have to see this film!
I find his work unique and inspiring.
His style is so elegant and brutal at the same time. Mostly the photos are black and white, but others are sepia/brown tinted. The way he consistent use the same technique give his photos a personal and recognizable look.
Some of the greatest bands and musicians ever have looked into his lens. Here's some photos, which I hope you'll find inspiring.
Happy new year!
